38mm 2-inch Inverted, Dripless Honey Jar Lids

The 38mm 2-inch Dripless Honey Jar Lid solves the most common honey dispensing complaint: the jar drips after you pour. The lid has a silicone valve pressed into the dispensing opening. When you squeeze the jar, the valve opens and honey flows out in a controlled stream. When you stop squeezing, the valve seals immediately. No slow drip, no residue building up around the lid, no mess on the counter.

Most beekeepers who buy this lid pair it with one of two setups. The first is inverted storage — the 12 oz Inverted Honey Jar is designed to be stored upside down with this lid in place, keeping honey gravity-fed at the opening at all times. The second is standard jars — the 16 oz and 32 oz Plastic Classic Jars and the flat panel honey bears all use the same 38-400 thread, and a lot of customers switch to the dripless lid on those jars too just for the cleaner pour. You don't need the inverted jar to make use of this lid.

The 2-inch base is slightly wider than a standard flat lid, which creates a stable footprint when the jar is stored upside down. It fits any jar or bottle with a 38-400 continuous thread — the same thread as our 38mm Flip Top Lid, so it's a direct drop-in replacement if you want to switch.
