63mm Plastic Lids with Liner
The 63mm Plastic Lid with Liner is the white plastic alternative to our metal 63mm lid. Same thread, same jar compatibility, different material. The foam liner inside compresses against the jar rim when the lid is fully tightened to form a seal — no heating required, no special technique. Tighten it on and you're done.
Why plastic instead of metal? A few reasons come up consistently. Plastic lids are lighter, which matters slightly on shipping-heavy orders. The white lid reads cleaner against some label designs than gold or white metal. And for operations running high-volume bottling, plastic can be slightly easier to torque tightly by hand across large quantities. The trade-off is that plastic isn't rated for water bath canning — if you're processing honey or preserves with heat, use the metal lid. For cold honey bottling, either material works equally well.

- 43mm jars (1.5 oz sample) — use 43mm Metal Jar Lid
Note: Not suitable for water bath canning or heated processing — plastic cannot handle the temperatures required. For canning, use the 63mm Metal Jar Lid instead.
